JJAASES is committed to the principles of open research and scientific transparency.
This is a **Diamond Open Access** journal, which means that all articles are published online and made available to the public immediately upon publication without charging subscription costs, download fees, or registration gates.
DOAJ / Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI) Definition
In alignment with the BOAI definition of Open Access, JJAASES permits users to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of these articles, crawl them for indexing, pass them as data to software, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without financial, legal, or technical barriers other than those inseparable from gaining access to the internet itself.
The only constraint on reproduction and distribution, and the only role for copyright in this domain, is to give authors control over the integrity of their work and the right to be properly acknowledged and cited.
No Fees / APC-Free
To eliminate financial barriers to scholarly publishing for researchers in developing regions, the University of Jos fully sponsors all production processes. JJAASES does **not** charge authors Article Processing Charges (APCs) or manuscript submission fees.
Digital Archiving & Preservation
To guarantee the permanent availability and long-term digital preservation of research articles, JJAASES commits to archiving all published volumes in the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN) and local institutional digital repositories hosted by the University of Jos.
