Author Copyright Retention Policies

Authors submitting manuscripts to the **Jos Journal of Applied Animal Science and Environmental Sustainability (JJAASES)** retain copyright of their work without restrictions.

Retained Rights

By publishing in JJAASES, authors grant the journal a non-exclusive license to publish, archive, and distribute the work under the CC-BY-4.0 license, and to act as the first publisher of the work.

Authors are free to deposit versions of their work in institutional repositories, preprint servers, or personal websites (self-archiving) at any time. This applies to:

  • Preprint versions (pre-refereeing).
  • Author Accepted Manuscripts (post-refereeing).
  • Published versions (Version of Record).

Moral Rights

Authors retain full moral rights, including the right of attribution and integrity. Full citation coordinates of JJAASES must be acknowledged when self-archiving or reproducing sections of the published Version of Record.
